Who this applies to
Every Customer, User and anyone else who uses the aeratus Services. This policy is part of the Terms of Service.
You must not use the Services to
- break the law or help anyone else break it;
- publish illegal content — including hate speech, incitement to violence, terrorist content, child sexual abuse material, defamation, or content that infringes copyright, trade marks or other rights;
- harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
- publish another person's personal data, photo or profile without a lawful basis — and without their consent where consent is required;
- collect special categories of personal data (such as health, religion, political opinions, ethnic origin or sexual orientation) or identity documents unless it is necessary and lawful;
- publish anyone's national identification number, such as a Lithuanian personal code (asmens kodas) — Lithuanian law forbids making it public;
- send spam: emails without a lawful basis, to bought or scraped lists, or without a working way to opt out;
- impersonate someone, or present an AI assistant as a human being;
- run fraudulent events, fake registrations, ticket scams or phishing;
- upload malware or anything designed to damage systems or gain unauthorised access to them;
- probe, scan or test the security of the Services without our written permission (please report vulnerabilities to hello@aeratus.app — we welcome it);
- overload the Services, circumvent rate limits, plan limits or access controls, or scrape them by automated means;
- resell or sublicense the Services, or use them to build a competing product;
- use AI features to produce unlawful, deceptive or harmful content;
- use AI features for a purpose listed as high-risk in Annex III to the EU AI Act — such as deciding on admission to education, evaluating learners' results, recruiting or evaluating people for work, or assessing creditworthiness — unless we have agreed it in writing (Terms, section 9.6).
Extra duties for organisers
- Keep your event, form, club and website information accurate.
- When you add people who have no account — speakers, members, alumni, guests — make sure they know, and that they agree where the law requires it, before you publish anything about them.
- Upload only contact lists you are allowed to email.
- Keep your own privacy notice up to date and linked from your pages.
What happens after a breach
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close accounts or workspaces, as sections 10 and 14 of the Terms describe. We tell you why and how to contest the decision. Serious breaches may be reported to the authorities.
Reporting
Report illegal content or a breach of this policy through our notice procedure.
